This is a clever and delightful side table with Sasa on top and tier. SaSa is a bamboo variety that grows in abundance in the Philippines. The finely crushed SaSa is hand applied to each piece. The Filipino word "SaSa" means to crush or loosen the stalk of the plant. SaSa bamboo is extremely strong and durable. Port Eliot offers a fresh new technique to crush bamboo to give this piece a light and airy appearance.
